Two swordsmiths share a mountain. Each is sure the other is the reason his own blades fall short, and neither can let it go.

The crew of the Durante make first contact far from any help. It doesn't take them long to learn that staying alive and doing the right thing don't always line up.

A wound strips Lord de Grey of everything he was raised to be, and what's left is hungry. Brother Anselm has seen this before, at Constantinople. But he's an almoner in a worn habit, and nobody listens to almoners.

DRVID Current work
Mona has burned. A druid initiate walks home to find her king has already signed with Rome. Her own order took her tongue years ago, so every word she says has to go through someone else. She has one season to do what she came back for.

I'm Glen. I write novels, mostly historical, with the odd bit of science fiction.
Three are out so far: Aiuchi, set in sixteenth-century Japan; Ravenous, in medieval Suffolk; and Original Sin, on a starship. I'm writing DRVID now, which is set in Roman Britain.
I like to get the history right, so there's a lot of reading before I start.
When I'm not writing I'm reading, walking the shadowy paths of the countryside, taking photos, practising my French or building software.
